Introduction

Food Technology Student Association (PERTEMA), UiTM Shah Alam and Faculty of Applied Sciences are delighted to invite and welcome you to the International SYMPOSIUM: DEVELOPMENT OF MUSHROOMS AS SUSTAINABLE SUPERFOODS OF THE FUTURE 2022 (DoMaSSoF22). The DoMaSSoF22 will feature the theme of Development and Innovation on Mushroom on 10 December 2022 which will be hosted virtually.

 

The aim of the symposium is to provide the opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research work to the international audience in a professional and supportive environment. DoMaSSoF22 accepts submissions representing a wide range of food science and technology disciplines which will allow the students to learn from each other about exciting research topics regarding mushrooms. It is also a good platform for young researchers to meet and interact with great researchers and leaders in the field of food science and technology.

 

The program consisted of invitational plenary session and oral presentation on current problems, innovation, and development of mushroom. Fully registered participants will receive a certificate of presentation, participation and have access to the recording link of the presentation. The extended abstract will have the opportunity to be published in Food Research (Scopus Q3). All presenters will also have a chance to win three best oral presentation awards which will be announced at the closing ceremony.

 

We hope the symposium will enhance the Asian and international network of researchers and professionals and will gain a better understanding of various applications of science and technology in the food system, and an appreciation for the complexity of the modern food supply. We encourage all undergraduate and postgraduate students involved in Food Science and Technology research to apply and join this speed networking session just that may help develop your research pitch.
